As Greeks of course when we saw this place we got in.We didn't expect to see "our" food so good ,so far away from home.Its common to see greek food outside Greece being totally different (in a bad way).That's not true for Kavos!We felt like we where back to Greece!Also the prices where the most "logicall" we found in our trip.The guys also was excellent examples of Greek "philoxenia"!Well done!Keep up the good work!👏🇬🇷

Stopped by Nyack for a day trip and found this great Greek restaurant!! It's quaint, and what I would describe as a Greek cafe vibe!! We stopped by for a lunch and were not disappointed! The grilled octopus on a Kavos Roka was yummy! The Kavos Gyro was very good! Nice portions and very reasonably priced! The octopus is so tender not chewy! For dessert it had to be Baklava, which was so darn good!!! The service was very special-- shout out to Dimitri, the owner, for checking in on us to say hello and to Noemy, our friendly server!! Oh, and they have a bar too!! A must visit if you are fond of Greek food!!

Ordered food for takeout to celebrate my husband’s birthday. It was late in the day (7pm). Even then their food was fresh and delicious! The Moussaka was out of this world tasty, so was the chicken/rice dish and Greek salad. Great balance between salt and spices and everything was well made. Was going to pick up dessert from another place…glad I didn’t and in stead got the orange sponge cake, chocolate mouse and some lemon custard in a filo dough filling. My husband is rarely impressed with desserts but he loved this one!!! And the food! We all did. Glad we discovered this place. Compliments to the chef and please keep up the good work and remain consistent with the recipe because we will be back for more. 🫶🏽

Cozy Greek restaurant in Nyack, with a nice atmosphere, always with pleasant background music that allows you to have a conversation without having to raise your voice. the staff always has a smile and are willing to give the best attention. I have already been to this restaurant several times and it is a bit difficult for me to order a different dish since what I order is always exquisite, at a good temperature and with a very good flavor. They have an extensive menu that has appetizers, soup, salads, gyro, meats, desserts and more. The Gyro sandwich or Platter you need to try it is my favorite.

I've eaten here twice and both experiences were wonderful. The food, the atmosphere and the service were all excellent. They have an outstanding chef which prepares some of the best Greek dishes I've ever had. This place is now my #1 place to visit in Nyack!

I always love to visit Kavos Grill. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and they are pet friendly! I like to go there because we love Greek cuisine. We enjoy eating the grilled meat that comes from their kitchen every time we visit them. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who enjoy Greek dishes or any other type of cuisine as well!

I had a wonderful dining experience at Kavos Grill! The owner Dimitris was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the lamb shank with orzo, which is cooked to perfection. Overall, I had a fantastic time at Kavos and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic taverna style Greek meal.

The best!! They are the loveliest people and the food is always delicious! This is takeout and look how fabulous it is, that’s the blackened chicken sandwich, You won’t be disappointed. I option for extra, everything and this is how it comes out! Awesome!!!
